High-quality cast iron cocotte for versatile cooking

The oval cocotte from STAUB is a robust cast iron cookware made in France. The enamelled interior surface in black allows for particularly crisp searing and is also very durable. Thanks to the special droplet pattern on the lid, moisture is optimally distributed inside the pot, resulting in juicy and tender results when braising. The cocotte retains heat for a long time and distributes it evenly, ensuring gentle and energy-efficient cooking. In addition, it is suitable for all types of hobs, including induction, and can also be used in the oven or under the grill.

Perfect for slow cooking and a wide range of applications

This cookware is ideal for searing and slow cooking meat, fish and vegetables. The cocotte is excellent for braised dishes where flavours are meant to meld intensively. Due to its ability to retain both heat and cold, it can also be used for preparing desserts or even ice cream. The combination of functionality and elegant design makes the cocotte an indispensable aid in professional kitchens and demanding culinary environments.
