- Open the safe with the key upon first use.
- Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the door and insert 4 AA alkaline batteries.
- Enter a 3- to 6-digit code and confirm the entry with “#”.
- The safe is locked as soon as “CLOSE” appears on the display.
- Within 5 minutes after opening, the safe can be locked with “#” without changing the code.
