- Open the safe using the emergency override key or via the external emergency power supply.
- Insert four 1.5 V AA batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the door.
- The LCD display will show "ALL READY" for one second. Afterwards, the safe switches to standby mode. The display shows the year, month, day, weekday, and time.
