- Pipe diameters should always remain consistent or only be professionally planned to be reduced. Incorrect reduction can affect the entire system.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Modern flame protection filters made of stainless steel are designed to be cleaned in commercial dishwashers.
- Daily cleaning prevents burning in/resin build-up.
- Carefully lift the filter out of the holder (caution: fat droplets!).
- For heavy soiling, rinse off coarse fat with hot water.
- Wash in the dishwasher at high temperatures (at least 60–70 °C) using a fat-dissolving detergent.
- The filters must be completely dry before being reinstalled to prevent mould or bacterial growth.
