Activated carbon cartridges are specially designed to reliably purify exhaust air. They consist of an activated carbon filter with a hollow core inside and an outer shell made of activated carbon. The robust casing made of galvanised steel ensures durability and stability. The filters are ideal for use in exhaust air purification systems and in the gastronomy sector. They provide efficient absorption of pollutants and odours.Maintenance and optimal operating conditions
Due to the limited absorption capacity, a regular replacement every 6 to 12 months is required. Humidity above 70% should be avoided, as water can otherwise block the filters. To extend the service life, it is recommended to use in combination with a pre-filter, which retains coarse dust and grease, thereby protecting the pores of the activated carbon filter. This ensures the filter performance remains at the highest level.Installation & Operation
- The activated carbon cartridge is not refillable or rechargeable.
- Due to the limited absorption capacity, regular replacement is mandatory every 6-12 months depending on usage.
- A humidity level above 70% should be avoided, as otherwise the filter will be blocked by water.
