Cleaning & Maintenance
- Before cleaning, turn the gas tap off completely. Allow the appliance to cool to hand temperature.
- Remove the meat spit, the drip tray (reflector plates), and the paddles. These detachable stainless steel parts can be placed directly in the sink or – if suitable – in the dishwasher.
- Spray the stainless steel housing with a commercial-grade grease remover. Important: Avoid the burners/heating elements (cover with dry cardboard or aluminium foil if necessary).
- Wipe off the dissolved grease residue with damp cloths. Then, be sure to dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. Damp stainless steel surfaces in a warm catering environment otherwise provide the perfect breeding ground for bacteria.
