Cleaning & Maintenance
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool to hand temperature.
- When using charcoal, be sure to completely remove the ash residues first.
- Spray the stainless steel casing with a commercial-grade grease remover. Important: Avoid the burners/heating elements (if necessary, cover with dry cardboard or aluminium foil).
- Wipe off the dissolved grease deposits with damp cloths. Then, be sure to dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. Damp stainless steel surfaces in a warm fast-food area are the perfect breeding ground for bacteria.
- Lubricate the spit hanger after cleaning to prevent the motor from seizing.
