Installation & Operation

Cleaning & Maintenance
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool to hand temperature.
- Remove the meat spit, the drip tray (reflector plates), and the paddles. These detachable stainless steel parts can be placed directly in the sink or – if suitable – in the dishwasher.
- Spray the stainless steel housing with a commercial grease remover. Important: Avoid the burners/heating elements (if necessary, cover with dry cardboard or aluminium foil).
- Wipe off the dissolved grease residue with damp cloths. Then be sure to dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. Damp stainless steel surfaces in a warm fast-food area otherwise provide the perfect breeding ground for bacteria.
- After cleaning, grease the spit suspension to prevent the motor from seizing.
