Installation & Operation

⚠️ An extraction system is recommended to optimise performance.

  1. The doner robot has a manual mode, allowing the spit to continue rotating in the event of a failure and the meat to be sliced with a doner knife.

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool to lukewarm.
  • The rotating circular blade must be completely dismantled every evening. Meat residues and germs accumulate behind it. Additionally, the blade must be kept extremely sharp for a clean cut.
  • Spray the stainless steel housing with a commercial-grade degreaser. Important: Avoid the burners/heating elements (cover with dry cardboard or aluminium foil if necessary).
  • Wipe off the dissolved grease sludge with damp cloths. Then be sure to dry with a clean cloth. Moist stainless steel surfaces in a warm fast-food area otherwise provide the perfect breeding ground for bacteria.
  • Grease the skewer suspension after cleaning to prevent the motor from seizing.
