Cleaning & Maintenance
- Modern flame protection filters made of stainless steel are designed to be cleaned in a commercial dishwasher.
- Daily cleaning prevents burning in or resin build-up.
- Carefully lift the filter out of the holder (caution: fat droplets!).
- In case of heavy soiling, rinse off coarse fat with hot water.
- Wash in the dishwasher at high temperatures (at least 60–70 °C) using a fat-dissolving detergent.
- The filters must be completely dry before being reinserted to prevent mould or bacterial growth.
