The motor is mounted at the bottom, providing stable and even rotation of the meat spit. The distance between the spit and the burners is flexibly adjustable, enabling optimal cooking of different meat thicknesses. The 12 mm thick meat spit is robust and suitable for large pieces of meat. For easy cleaning, a removable grease collection tray is integrated. The entire housing is made of durable and easy-care stainless steel, guaranteeing longevity and hygiene.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Before cleaning, turn the gas tap off completely. Allow the appliance to cool to hand temperature.
Remove the meat spit, the drip tray (reflector plates), and the paddles. These detachable stainless steel parts can be placed directly in the sink or – if suitable – in the dishwasher.
Spray the stainless steel housing with a commercial-grade grease remover. Important: Avoid the burners/heating elements (cover with dry cardboard or aluminium foil if necessary).
Wipe off the dissolved grease residue with damp cloths. Then, be sure to dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. Damp stainless steel surfaces in a warm catering environment otherwise provide the perfect breeding ground for bacteria.
Lubricate the spit suspension after cleaning to prevent the motor from seizing.
