The 12 mm thick meat spit offers stability even with large pieces of meat. For added safety, a thermoelement automatically shuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out. Additionally, a pull-out fat collection tray is integrated to facilitate cleaning. Two protective shields and two wing doors complete the equipment, protecting both the grilled food and the operator.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Before cleaning, turn the gas tap off completely. Allow the appliance to cool to hand temperature.
Remove the meat spit, the drip tray (reflector plates), and the paddles. These detachable stainless steel parts can be placed directly in the sink or – if suitable – in the dishwasher.
Spray the stainless steel housing with a commercial-grade grease remover. Important: Avoid the burners/heating elements (cover with dry cardboard or aluminium foil if necessary).
Wipe off the dissolved grease residue with damp cloths. Then, be sure to dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. Damp stainless steel surfaces in a warm catering environment otherwise provide the perfect breeding ground for bacteria.
Lubricate the spit suspension after cleaning to prevent the motor from seizing.
