Cleaning & Maintenance
- Modern stainless steel flame protection filters are dishwasher safe and can be commercially cleaned.
- Clean the filters daily to prevent burning in and resin formation.
- Carefully lift the filters out of the holder as there may be fat droplets present.
- For heavy soiling, rinse coarse fat off with hot water.
- Wash the filters in the dishwasher at a minimum of 60–70 °C using a degreasing detergent.
- The filters must be completely dry before being reinstalled to prevent mould growth.
