Cleaning & Maintenance

Modern flame retardant filters made of stainless steel can be cleaned in the commercial dishwasher.
Daily cleaning prevents the burning in and gumming up of fat.
Carefully lift the filter out of the holder, as there may be drops of fat present.
In case of heavy soiling, rinse coarse fat off with hot water.
Wash the filters in the dishwasher at a minimum of 60–70 °C with a degreasing detergent.
The filters must be completely dry before being reinserted to prevent mould formation.
