Cleaning & Maintenance

Modern flame protection filters made of stainless steel are dishwasher safe and can be cleaned in commercial dishwashers.
Clean the filters daily to prevent burning in and resin formation.
Carefully lift the filters out of the holder, as there may be drops of fat.
In case of heavy soiling, rinse off coarse fat with hot water.
Wash in the dishwasher at a minimum of 60–70 °C using a fat-dissolving detergent.
The filters must be completely dry before being reinserted to avoid mould and bacterial growth.
