Cleaning & Maintenance
- Modern stainless steel flame protection filters are dishwasher safe and can be professionally cleaned.
- Clean the filters daily to prevent burning in and resin build-up.
- Carefully lift the filters out of the holder to avoid fat droplets.
- For heavy soiling, rinse coarse fat off with hot water.
- Wash the filters in the dishwasher at a minimum of 60–70 °C using a degreasing detergent.
- Ensure the filters are completely dry before reinserting them.
- Dry storage prevents the formation of mould and bacteria.
