High-quality Cast Iron Cocotte with Steaming Insert

This robust cast iron cocotte impresses with its extremely durable construction and the special majolica enamel coating, which provides an intense colour. The matte black interior enamel allows for particularly crisp searing and is highly resilient. Thanks to the special droplet pattern on the lid, the food remains juicy and tender, as the steam condenses evenly and drips back onto the food. The product is Made in France and suitable for all types of hobs, including induction. It is also oven- and grill-proof, emphasising its versatility.

Perfect for Braising, Steaming, and Poaching

The integrated steaming insert makes this cocotte ideal for preparing different dishes simultaneously, for example, rice at the bottom and fish on top. Due to the even heat distribution and the ability to retain heat for extended periods, the cookware is excellent for gentle braising and steaming. It is optimal for preparing dishes that need to remain juicy as well as for achieving crisp searing results. The cocotte is used in professional kitchens as well as in upscale households where quality and functionality are essential.
